NOTICE TO BIDDERS

PURCHASE OF A 2000 GALLON PUMPER-TENDER

The City of Silver Bay, Minnesota will receive bids for the purchase of a 2000 Gallon Pumper-Tender Fire Engine subject to terms and conditions contained in the Bidding Documents.  Sealed bids will be received by the office of Administration, located at City Hall, 7 Davis Drive, Silver Bay, MN 55614 until 1:00 P.M. on the 16th day of March, 2017, at which time the sealed bids will be publicly opened and tabulated according to law. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Plans and specifications may be examined or copies may be obtained at City Hall.  Questions regarding the bid request can be directed to Lana Fralich, City Administrator (218-226-4408).  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids or bidding and to award in the best interest of the city.

Winter Parking

In accordance with the city code, no parking will be permitted on the streets between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. or during any time that snowplowing or snow removal operations are in progress beginning November 1 and running through April 30.  As a reminder, boulevard parking will not be allowed.
