Volunteers to Become Tree Stewards Needed

The City of Silver Bay is a recipient of a MN DNR Forestry grant to plant 200 trees.  The majority will be planted along Outer Drive as part of the City’s Outer Drive Gateway Improvement project, while the remaining trees will be planted in the boulevards throughout the city.

The city is in need of volunteers interested in becoming Tree Stewards.  If you are interested, educational learning sessions will be conducted on May 14 and May 16 from 4-6 PM. Please RSVP by May 10th, by calling City Hall at 218.226.4408 or email lanaf@silverbay.com.

4th Annual Masters Bean Bag Tourney

The 4th Annual Masters Bean Bag Tournament is to be held at the Silver Bay Liquor Store on April 27th, starting at 11:00 a.m.

It will be held outside at the Silver Bay Liquor Store. In the case of bad weather, it will be moved inside the Reunion Hall. Door prizes and drink specials will also be available.
