CITY OF SILVER BAY POSITION OPENING

STREET SUPERINTENDENT

The City of Silver Bay is accepting applications for the position of Street Superintendent to serve as a working supervisor and to administer, supervise, perform and direct activities of the street department to maintain streets, roads, sidewalks, recreation areas, airport, cemetery, and maintenance of building and equipment. To cooperate with and assist other departments as necessary and required. Obtain proper permits, review and recommend approval of Right-of-Way, Driveway approaches, Stormwater Runoff, Hazardous Waste, and other permits as necessary. Manages and Maintains City Fleet. Performs the duties outlined or set forth in the City Code or as assigned by the Administrator and/or City Council.

Applicants must have graduated from high school or equivalent, have a minimum of two (2) years of university, community college, trade school, or technical college experience in heavy equipment mechanics, and four years appropriate experience, or equivalent in experience, and possess a MN Class A commercial driver’s license. This is a full-time supervisory position with competitive wages and benefits. City Utility Bills Due by 4:00 PM Sept. 30

City utility bills are due by 4:00 PM September 30th.  A late fee of $15.00 will be incurred if payment is not received within the City Administration office by 4:00 PM on September 30th.
