Silver Bay Library Services

Loans:
- Most materials are loaned for a period of 4 weeks.
- Videocassettes/DVDs are loaned for 3 days.
- Renewals: Materials may be renewed by mail, telephone, in person, or online.
Fines:
- The Library uses a fine system of .20 cents per day.
- Videocassette/DVDs fines are $2.00 per day.
Library Cards:
- Library Cards are free of charge and there is no minimum to apply.
- The Card is good throughout the Arrowhead Library System of Minnesota for
3 years after you receive it.
- Replacement cards are $2.00
- Computers (including Internet access) and typewriters are available for usage by the public.
- Using the Internet in the Library constitutes acceptance of the Silver Bay Public Library Acceptable Use Policy
(and the Parental Awareness form signed for those under the age of 18 years old).
Special note:
- The Library also houses the special collection of E.W. Davis, founder of the taconite processing.
