The most picturesque park along the North Shore features marina facilities<\/a>, a boat landing, picnic tables, fire pits, a scenic vista, and a beach. All located on the shore of Lake Superior.<\/p>\nBlack Beach Park & Campground<\/strong><\/em>
The City of Silver Bay and the MN DNR, entered into a Lease Agreement with Northshore Mining for 31.6 acres of property along Lake Superior’s North Shore for the purpose of public beaches. The beaches have quickly become a “hotspot” for tourists traveling the North Shore.<\/p>\nThe 49-site Black Beach Campground<\/a> construction started the spring of 2019.\u00a0 The campground opened June 25, 2020. It has 15-sites with 20\/30-amp electricity, and 34-sites with 20\/30\/50-amp electric services and full water and sewer hookups.\u00a0 Unique to campgrounds on the North Shore, this has a few pull-through sites to accommodate the larger RV’s.\u00a0 The 15 electric only sites fit up to 35′ and the 34 full hook-up sites fit up to 75′.<\/p>\nBaseball & Softball Fields<\/strong><\/em>
