Neighborhood Revitalization Mini Grant

The City of Silver Bay, in partnership with Lake County Housing & Redevelopment Authority, has developed a neighborhood revitalization mini grant program to help make improvements to the exterior of properties within the city limits of Silver Bay.  Residents and businesses are eligible to apply.  No income limit.  The maximum grant request per household or business is $500.  Applications available

Exchange Day

The Silver Bay City Council designated Saturday, May 16th and Saturday, June 27th as citywide exchange days.  These days are designated for residents to place unwanted items on their boulevard.  Please be sure to remove all items from the boulevard by Monday, May 18th and Monday, June 29th, otherwise items will be picked up and disposed of at resident’s expense.

Commission Vacancies

The City of Silver Bay is looking for volunteers to service in open seats on the Economic Development Authority, Liquor Control Commission, Public Utilities Commission, & Public Works Commission.  Individuals interested in serving on any of these commissions may fill out a Commission/Board Membership Application and returning it to City Hall.  Applications are also available at City Hall.
