FRIENDS of the SILVER BAY LIBRARY

The Friends of the Silver Bay Public Library is a 501c(3) tax-exempt organization whose purpose is “to promote good library services and to work with all individuals and groups interested in providing necessary program, project, and financial support to strengthen the library’s resources and partnerships within the community.”

The Friends provide assistance to the library, programs for all ages, ongoing used book sale, annual book sale, and hosts the book club. Membership is open to everyone. The Friends Board meets on the fourth Monday of every month at 5:00 PM in the library. Please join us if you are interested.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK CLUB

The first Monday of each month the Friends of the Library hosts a book club at 6:00 pm. All are welcome and Zoom participations options are available. A wide variety of fiction and nonfiction books are selected each year. To see a list of past titles, click here. For more information call the library.

BOOK SALE

The Friends of the Library has a year round book sale at the library near the circulation desk. We have a wide range of youth and adult fiction and nonfiction titles as well as many DVDs.

Also each year on the Saturday of Bay Days, the Friends of the Library host a LARGE book sale 10 AM -3 PM. Don’t miss it!
